What to expect when visiting on a Sunday
We are a start-up congregation that’s meeting in a private home prior to a more-aggressive public launch. If you’d like to join us, by all means do! Contact firstname.lastname@example.org for location and time. That said, here are a few thoughts we’ve hazarded for what our upcoming public Sunday services will feel like: When you come to one of our Sunday gatherings, you can expect a casual and welcoming environment and a vibrant experience that aims to be practical, spiritual, and fun. The services run about 75 minutes and include lively, diverse music and a story-filled, half-hour talk that explores real-world implications of passages from the Bible. We’ll have good, complimentary coffee, juice and treats. We won’t pressure you for money and—though we’re a brand new, small congregation—you can be as chatty or anonymous as you’d prefer to be. If you have kids fifth grade or younger who’d enjoy a group with activities or stories, friendly people at the door will let you know where to take them, or they’re most welcome to join you in the service.
